Infinity Dance Studio provides dancers ages 2 1/2-18 years old a safe environment to express themselves creatively, build self-confidence and have fun! Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Acrobatics, Modern, Hip Hop, Combination classes,Competition teams and more are offered.

 Meet The Infinity Staff

MICHELLE JOYCEPARTNER, CREATIVE DIRECTOR, INSTRUCTOR, CHOREOGRAPHER AND MENTOR  

Born in Wilmington, DE, Michelle began dancing before the age of 5, studying with Anna Marieleo.  She continued in the areas of ballet, tap, jazz, acrobatics, modern, Hawaiian, Tahitian and pointe with various instructors including Pauline Goddard, European School of Dance, the Princeton Ballet School, Broadway Dance Center, NYC, Muhlenberg College, Steps NYC and earned a Bachelor of Science in Dance and Dance Education from New York University. Michelle performed in and choreographed numerous college and professional productions and in nightclubs and dinner theaters across, NY, NJ and PA. With the European Dancers and LaChic Dancers. Michelle is thrilled to share her passion for dance and learning with all of her students past and present.   

After over thirty years of teaching dance, Infinity Dance Studio is the culmination of a lifelong dream to teach children in our own studio.  The past five years as Infinity Dance Studio has been extremely rewarding.  All of our classes, dance styles, and competition experiences have made us a wonderful place for our students to grow as dancers and humans!  Thank you for all of your support!


Rebecca Harcar - Partner and Office Manager

Miss Rebecca was born in Trenton, NJ, where she attended Immaculate Conception School, followed by St. Raphael's and Steinert High School. During this time, Rebecca was heavily involved in competitive dance and Cheer, competing for the Nationally Recognized "World Cup" Cheer program.

After finishing her education at Rider University, Rebecca knew her passion was working with children, which has led her to 12 years of Youth Dance Administration. As partner of Infinity Dance Studio, Rebecca is responsible for dancer registration, hiring instructors, communication with parents and students, the competition teams and more. Rebecca also works with Miss Michelle and the instructors on music and costume selection.


Anne Johnson - Ballet Instructor and Choreographer

Miss Annie began her early training at Ballet Technique, under the direction of Julie Caprio, in Hamilton, NJ. She then attended Butler University, graduating cum laude in 2015 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in dance performances, as well as studying strategic communications.

In the summer of 2014 she toured Eastern Europe with members of Butler Ballet to teach and perform at various schools in Poland, Austria, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic. After graduation, Annie joined American Repertory Ballet as a trainee and became a member of ARB II in 2017, and then was promoted to the company in 2018.

Since joining ARB, Ms. Johnson has performed in various roles in numerous productions Kirk Peterson’s Carmen, Beauty and The Beast, and Lombardi Variations; Douglas Martin’s Rite of Spring, Pride and Prejudice, and Coppelia; Mary Barton’s Straight Up With a Twist and Troix Voix; Jose Limon’s There is a Time; Paul Taylor’s Airs; Septime Weber’s Fluctuating Hemlines; Riccardo De Nigris’ Beyond the Normal; Trey McIntyre’s Blue Until June; Amy Seiwert’s World, Interrupted; Ryoko Tanaka’sSaudade; David Fernandez’s Mexican Music; and Myrtha in ARB’s Giselle.


Julianna Tavares - Instructor and Choreographer

Miss Jules started dancing at the age of 2 years old and joined the Infinity family when we opened our doors in 2016, where she took multiple classes and danced on our Platinum competition team.

Jules has danced competitively for the last 10 year and performed her first solo at 8 years old. She was a student teacher for many years, has taken multiple Master classes in NYC at Steps on Broadway and danced on her High School Dance team.

Jules graduated from our program in 2021. She will still be dancing at the Studio as she will continue to pursue dance and the arts.


Sydney Law - Instructor and Choreographer

Miss Sydney began her dance training at the age of three, at a small studio in North Carolina. Through her years of competitive dance, she trained at Dance Works Studio, CC&Co. Dance, and No Limits Dance Center. Through competitive dance and conventions such as DanceMakers, Nuvo, Radix, Revive, and 24/7, she has formed many close relationships with traveling choreographers.

After graduating high school, Choreographer, Stacey Tookey, invited Miss Sydney to join the Bridge Movement, which is a professional company and program in New York City. There, she has continued her well-rounded training under choreographers such as Ray Leeper, Jason Parsons, Calen Kurka, Andrew Winghart, Travis Wall, Teddy Forance, Chantelle Aguirre, Stacey Tookey and Martha Nichols.

After making the move to NYC, she has started acting and vocal lessons to assist in booking jobs, all while starting a modeling career in the city as well.

She is signed with Wilhelmina Model and Talent Agency and has booked jobs modeling for boutiques in the city and assisting choreographers at Nuvo Dance Convention. Her favorite styles of dance are Jazz Funk and Contemporary!


Olivia Gulsby - Instructor and Choreographer

Olivia began dancing at the age of 2 under the instruction of Michelle Joyce and Rebecca Harcar. She continued dancing with them for 18 years, practicing lyrical, contemporary, jazz, tap, and acrobatic styles of dance. She was a part of the Platinum competition team at Infinity from 2017-2021.

Along with Miss Olivia’s dance background, she was a cheerleader both recreationally and competitively, starting at the age of 5. She was a part of Hamilton Stars and Jersey Athletics cheerleading gyms prior to being on her high school varsity team for 4 years, serving her junior and senior year as captain.

Miss Olivia is pursuing a bachelors degree at Rutgers University while teaching at the studio and sharing her lifelong love for dance with the Infinity family.


Amy Boles-Instructor and Choreographer

Amy my began her dance training at the age of four at Simone Dance Studio. Over her fourteen years, she studied ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and hip hop. She performed on their award winning competition team for a number of years in addition to having featured roles in several studio productions, including Mary Poppins in Mary Poppins.

Amy began student teaching at the age of 10, working with students for over eight years ranging from 3 to 12 years old. Following her time at Simone, Amy attended Lafayette College majoring in Biology. While there, she performed with the Lafayette College Dance Team at Division I football and basketball games, including multiple performances for the 150th Lafayette-Lehigh Rivalry Game at Yankee Stadium.

Amy was also appointed head choreographer for the Marquis Players, a student-run nonprofit theater group, where she choreographed shows such as Cabaret, 9 to 5, and Guys and Dolls. She additionally served as associate tap choreographer for the Lafayette College Department of Theater’s production of The Drowsy Chaperone.


Taylor Hickey- Office Staff

Miss Taylor has been a part of the Infinity Dance family for the past five years and has been working with Miss Michelle and Miss Rebecca for the past 10 years. Having danced and cheered throughout her childhood, working at Infinity allows her to continue to surround herself and her love for dance. She loves hearing all the excitement in the dancers, building relationships with them and watching them grow. When not at Infinity, Miss Taylor is a third grade teacher in Lawrenceville. She can’t wait to continue to see all of the great things that comes out of Infinity Dance Studio!


Emily Gulsby- Office Staff

Emily grew up dancing and taking gymnastics classes from a young age under the instruction of Michelle Joyce. She also participated in many other sports while growing up including soccer and lacrosse.

After high school she continued her education at Rutgers University where she also worked as a resident assistant planning many large student events and creating a safe and welcoming community for her peers-a skill she now uses as part of the Infinity team. Emily has been been a part of Infinity since it’s beginning as a student, friendly face, and creative consultant.

Emily works closely with our competition teams and is our "go to" hair and makeup stylist in a pinch. Emily can’t wait for this new chapter for Infinity Dance Studio and all of its wonderful dancers!
